Keep them away from large monsters and cavalry, as well as ranged enemy units. Their main weakness are their high cost (along with most Daemonic units) and low melee defense and armor. They are speedy and pack a punch in melee with good armor piercing and anti-infantry capabilities as well as a high charge bonus, allowing them to easily chew through most other infantry. ![]() They are extremely powerful melee units, and relatively easy to recruit at that, being available from a Tier 1 Daemonic Gateway Major Settlement. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.īloodletters are the main foot soldiers for Khorne, and will form the core of most of your armies. ▲ Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse.They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets. ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies.With each fresh kill, the Bloodletters loose great shouts of victory that echo across the battlefield and chill the souls of all who hear. When loosed to the fray, Bloodletters sprint from one enemy to the next, hacking the foe apart before springing away in search of new victims. The Daemon hordes of Khorne consist of ferocious Bloodletters, deadly warriors believed to have been foremost amongst the Blood God's followers in mortal life and whose will is as implacable and blood-hungry as Khorne himself. ![]()
